Very close in appearance to a True Boston (many can not see the difference), but ... better, stronger, faster.

The relatively new cultivar 'Nevada®' is a serious contender for 'True Boston's' place at the top, especially when planted in larger pots. It scores slightly higher on a number of points. For example, for its extremely rapid growth habit, uniformity and the sturdiness of its erect fronds, as well as for its overall strength and hardiness. Although not fully hardy 'Nevada®'
will thrive on the patio. A top product by any standard, its quality underlined by the lovely, dark green colour.

Nevada® is slowly catching the eye of every serious Boston Fern grower. Although slightly slower growing, it is a little darker green, a little more symmetrical and a little bit tougher. When grown correctly, this selection will produce less thatch. Thus, at time of shipping, less labor is required to clean plants.
