BIRD’S-NEST FERN

Description

This tropical fern is popular for its growth habit in the form of a rosette of fresh green fronds (undeveloped fronds look rather like a bird´s nest). Aspleniums like shade or dappled shade and high humidity as well as well-drained soil. The fern will grow quite tall in warm, humid conditions; up to about 125 cm (50 inches). If conditions are cooler and less humid it will reach a height of 30-40 cm (10 -15 inches).
