JAPANESE HOLLY FERN

Description

This garden fern grows to a height of 30 inch (75 cm) and is fully hardy in moderate climate zones. However, we recommend covering the crown with stones or straw in winter. The plant is very resistant to dry air and is therefore also a useful houseplant. The Rockford Holly Fern is semi-evergreen.

A beautiful hardy fern that performs well in partial shade, US Zones 7-10. Leaves are dark green with an attractive serrated edge. As a clumper reaching 20 to 30inch (40cm-75cm), it is perfect for a large area needing an evergreen ground cover or plant individually for a tropical accent. Also sold as a pot plant for a bright location indoors. Versatile and tough, the Holly Fern has been popular with gardeners for years.
